Pinodjem I (paj-nedjem) son of the High Priest of Amun in Thebes (HPA) Piankh (paj-ankh) became HPA in ca.1070 BCE. He assumed the title of king in ca.1054 under the name of Khakheperre and died in ca.1032. He had two recorded wives: Isetemkhebjt A and Duathathor-Henuttauj. His children included HPA Masaharta, HPA Djedkhonsujuefankh, HPA Menkheperre and the God's Wife of Amun Maatkare.
His mummy was found in TT320, but this was not its original place of burial. It was found in the coffin of Ahhotep I with an outer rishi-coffin lid usurped from from Tuthmosis I whose (?) mummy was found in Pinodjem's coffin. Pinodjem's mummy was found in a corridor of the tomb, not in the burial chamber. Probably, Pinodjem's primary burial was with Nedjemet and Henuttauj. These coffins and the mummies were extensively plundered during the period between their initial burials and the time of their transfer to TT320 in the 22nd Dynasty in the reign of Sheshonq I in Tanis and the pontificate of his second son, Iupet, in Thebes. Found with Pinodjem were a mummy-cloth and six ushebti-boxes
