High Priest of Amun, Masaharta, son of Khakheperre Pinodjem I

The High Priest of Amun, Masaharta, was the son of HPA and King Khakheperre Pinodjem I and Isetemkhebjt A. His remains and coffins, as well as those of his wife, Tajheret,  were found in TT320 although this was not the original place of burial. Masaharta became HPA when his father took on the title of king. He died, probably of an illness connected with his obesity, ten years before his father. His pontificate was marred by political unrest.
